As you all may know already, the release date of the second
season of Graceland is revealed. The season will start at the 11th of June,
this summer.
This season won't only bring new cases and new problems,
but also new characters. We all know Mike, Briggs, Johnny, Dale, Charlie and
Paige by now but in the second season of the series you'll meet Sid Markham,
who will move into Mike's room. Sid is a very great guy, extremely helpful to
others and strong and dependable. He uses his ability to read people to build
relationships with them, combined with his intelligence. The new agent will
bond with Briggs who uses him to take down a cartel. Sid will give you a great
first impression but if this is the right impression, we're not sure. Sid will
be played by Carmine Giovinazzo, also known from CSI: NY.
You'll also meet the FBI's Assistant Deputy Director.
She's Mike's superior and is tasked to rein him in. E! Online teased that there
might be some romance between Mike and his superior in the next season. We're not sure what her name in the series
will be because different sources say different things. Her name will be Vera
Walker or Jessica Foster, played by Emily Rose.
Mike won't be in the house when the show returns, and it
will be hard for him to get his place in Graceland back because of another new
roommate moving in, Zagurski. We do know that Mike is going to try to convince
his boss to return him to Graceland to solve a big case.
Kelly will show up in season 2 as well. She is an alcohol
addict, Briggs will meet her at AA and at first she won't know his connection
to her tragic past.
Lucia and Carlito Sorlano, brother and sister in the
series will be played by Jamie Gray Hyder, who you may know from True Blood, and Erik Valdez. Carlito
runs the cartel stateside and Lucia will be a leash to Carlito's pitbull and
works hard to make sure her brother won't destroy everything their father
build. Lucia tries, despite her brother's actions, to live a normal life and
goes to grad school. She's also skeptical of Johnny and his attempts to get to
know more about her brother and get closer to him.

The second episode will be called 'Connects', and the third 'Magic Number'. The
whole season will consist out of 13 episodes.
